Unless you have been living under a rock for the past week, you know that George Alexander Louis, His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge, was born to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Just like his father and grandfather before him, Prince George is the future heir to the throne of England. Before he was conceived, his life purpose was already established, and he will one day become the King of England.
While Prince George’s royal purpose might not be a surprise to you, you might be surprised to learn that even before you were conceived, God had a royal purpose for your life too.
The Bible tells us, that God has a purpose and a plan for your life. You were also created for a purpose and God knows your future.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”- Jeremiah 29:11 New International Version (NIV)
It is only when you live God’s purpose and plan that you will find true meaning in your life. The problem occurs when we mistakenly think that God’s plan is always going to be a “feel good” plan.
Jeremiah’s message was not a “feel good” message. In fact, Jeremiah was writing to a group of people who are being held captive - in exile from their homeland. He was writing to let them know that although they were not where they would like to be, and not where they would have asked God to put them, God had not forgotten them and He still had a plan for their lives.
God wants you to know that He has a purpose and a plan for your life too. Living God’s plan and purpose begins by asking Jesus into your life. If you have not done this and would like help making that decision click here. If you are making this decision for the first time, please send me a message here to let me know.
Once you have asked Jesus into your life, He will reveal His plan and purpose for your life through prayer, the Bible, your circumstances, and through other believers. Only by seeking and asking for His guidance, can you begin living God’s purpose and plan for your life.
God has a royal purpose for you, do you know what it is? Would you like to find out? Comment below.
